CRT Monitor Housings
Key Design Features & General Construction
- Our monitor housings feature a 4mm polycarbonate front window with
anti-reflection coating.
- Full pan and tilt adjustment – Scratch
resistant .
- Total monitor enclosure – Steel or aluminium frames .
- The
polycarbonate front windows are masked according to the size of the monitor.
- The quick-detachable front and rear covers are made from GRP (Glass
Reinforced Plastic). The GRP covers are corrosion-free and can be positioned
in very harsh environments without risk of deterioration.
- Filtered ventilation – Weatherproof
seals
- Secret cabling with a glanded entry point on each side.
- Fire
Sensitive Areas – Specific models feature materials that have Section 12/underground
locations approval. These offer low risk of flammability and smoke evolution,
with minimal toxic fume emissions.
- Excellent service accessibility .
- Environmental
compliances are measured using the IP rating system.
- Units are available
in a broad choice of colours in the RAL and BS4800 spectrum.
- Bailey Concepts
recommend using Hantarex monitors in their housings.
- Housings can be wall,
ceiling or pedestal mounted (all of these support brackets are manufactured by
Bailey Concepts.

There are two CRT Monitor Housings
available:
- Cobra 28B Housing – To accommodate monitors from 21” – 28” in
size. IP55 rating.
- Cobra E1 Housing – To accommodate monitors from
12” – 15” in size. The Cobra E1 Housings is a smaller version
of the Cobra 28B Housing. IP53 rating. For internal use.
